PVC SG-3, Xinjiang Tianye
SG-3 has a higher degree of polymerisation than SG-5. The practical difference is a single one: the resin takes up more plasticiser and holds it better, so it goes where the part has to stay soft for years — cable compound, hose, artificial leather. It is not used in rigid formulations: it flows harder in processing than SG-5 or SG-8.

Storage and transport
Store in a dry, cool place in the closed original packaging, protected from moisture and sunlight. Provide ventilation and avoid dust accumulation. Resin that has taken up moisture cakes and doses poorly. Not classified as dangerous goods; carried by any covered transport.
